Hoju

A Hoju is a wish fulfilling jewel which signifies the bestowal of blessings. They are believed to grant wishes and bring luck and good fortune. These ceramic Hojus are each hand thrown on a wheel meaning they are all unique, no two are exactly alike. Ann Bollin creates each one with respect for their meaning and the culture from which they come.
